Texas vascular surgeon Dr. William Shutze told The Wall Street Journal that the findings seemed unusually positive for someone of Trump’s age.
“That report is almost too good to be true for somebody of his age,” he said.
“This seems to be a filtered narrative.”
CNN medical analyst Dr. Jonathan Reiner also questioned why Trump underwent another coronary CT scan just months after a previous one.
“We don’t typically scan patients six months later unless we are concerned about a finding on the initial scan,” Reiner wrote. “What prompted the repeat CT?”
The White House has maintained that the additional imaging was precautionary and showed no abnormalities. According to Barbabella, doctors recommended advanced imaging simply to ensure “continued optimal health,” and the results were described as completely normal.
Health concerns surrounding Trump have periodically surfaced over the past year due to visible bruising on his hands and swelling around his ankles.
Last year, the president was diagnosed with chronic venous insufficiency, a common condition in older adults that affects blood flow in the legs.
According to White House officials, the bruising is largely the result of Trump’s daily aspirin regimen and the sheer number of people he shakes hands with during public events.
Trump himself has repeatedly insisted he is in excellent condition.
Speaking recently, he boasted that he had completed multiple cognitive tests and claimed he had ‘aced’ every one of them.

Despite the dramatic headlines and widespread speculation, there is currently no evidence that Donald Trump is missing in any official sense, although he is missing from public view.
The White House continues to publish schedules showing the president participating in meetings and carrying out presidential duties. Administration officials have not announced any medical emergency, nor have they suggested Trump is unable to perform his role.
