I was literally jumping around the day the results arrived, refreshing my email every few minutes. “You’ll wear a hole in the floor,” Mom joked. Finally, the email came. My heart pounded as I clicked it. I was so excited, unaware that everything was about to change. There it was: a close match. A brother. Daniel. I blinked, rubbed my eyes—it had to be a mistake.
